What is CityZOR?
CityZOR is a public records search engine that locates information about people, properties, and businesses. CityZOR accesses information from community and homeowner’s associations, government agencies, corporate directories, and professional organizations. Information provided by CityZOR can be obtained by searching on a name, phone number, or an address. Users can find personal information about friends and relatives, marriage and divorce records, criminal records, residential property information, career information, death records, social media profiles and much more.
How do I Opt Out and Remove Myself from CityZOR?
Currently, there are three ways to remove your personal information from data broker sites like CityZOR:

How do I Opt Out of CityZOR Manually?
1. Navigate to the CityZOR homepage here: https://cityzor.com. Opting out of CityZOR requires a profile URL. You will need to search the CityZOR site to get your profile URL. In the People search area, type in your first and last name. Select your name from the list that appears. Your search will automatically begin.
2. Look through the search results to find your name and the most current personal information provided with it. Multiple results may appear. Narrow down the results by clicking on your current state of residence, as indicated in the image below.
3. Once you click on your state of residence, look through the results. Find your name and information and click it – it will be located in a box below the map as shown in the image below.
NOTE: You may have multiple profiles on the CityZOR website. Multiple opt out requests are permitted. Repeat the opt out steps for each profile you find. This is common if you have lived in multiple states or if you have different residential addresses.
4. After clicking on your name, a personal profile page will be displayed containing information about you. Copy the URL link from the address bar on the page as indicated in the image below.
5. Return to the CityZOR homepage here: https://cityzor.com Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the homepage and click the DO NOT SELL MY INFO link.
6. Paste your profile URL from Step 4 into the Profile URL field on the Privacy Act Requests page that opens. Then, enter your full name and email address and click Submit Opt Out Request.
IMPORTANT: Whenever contacting a data broker, we highly recommend using a disposable email address, and NOT using your own primary email address. 7. A removal request message will appear. CityZOR will send an email to the email address you provided.
8. Check your inbox for an email from CityZOR and open it. Click the verification link provided in the email to confirm your opt out.
9. A message confirming your opt out will appear. Your personal information will be removed from the CityZOR website.
